Welcome Back to SES Library!
Welcome back to SES Library! As always, my main goal is to support Reading here at SES and help our Little Warriors develop a true love of reading. Students will rotate through the library for the regular class activity schedule. Grades 1st - 5th will also have an Open Library time during the week which will allow two scheduled weekly visits to the library to check out our wonderful books. Parent permission is required for students to be able to check out books. A student permission form will be kept on file in the library for reference. The form states students are responsible for paying for books if they are lost or damaged while the books are checked out to students.
There will be several fun “Library Events” that take place throughout the year. Our students participate in our campus wide Reading Fair, Scholastic Book Fair, Golden Book Class Awards, and Accelerated Reader. There will be more information to come for these events as they arrive in our school calendar.

Library Resources and Information:
We will continue to use Accelerated Reader this school year. The students will have an assigned reading level and individual goals set for each nine weeks grading period. If goals are met, there will be a reward party at the end of each nine weeks. There will be more information on this later.
Tumblebooks are digital books that can be accessed any time from any device by going to www.tumblebooklibrary.com and using our school username and password. Our username is senatobia and our password is books
When using tumblebooks, remember you can search for books by title, subject, or AR level. This might help you find the best books for you to read!
