It's Reading Fair Season at SES!!
Below you will see pictures of projects that were entered in the fair last school year.
Our Reading Fair will take place the first week of February. This is not the Scholastic Book Fair where students purchase books, this is a project that your child can complete to showcase one of their favorite books. These displays may be presented on trifold boards (or poster boards if you can’t find a trifold board) that can be purchased at stores like WalMart, Target, or Office Depot. The information may be handwritten or typed. Winning projects are often those with bright, colorful, neat illustrations and writings that are “child created”. Students may choose either a fiction or non-fiction book to read and display. Students may start bringing completed projects to the SES Library beginning on Monday, January 29th between 7:15 and 8:15 a.m. each morning. **All projects will need to be submitted no later than Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Library Resources and Information:
We will continue to use Accelerated Reader this school year. The students will have an assigned reading level and individual goals set for each nine weeks grading period. If goals are met, there will be a reward party at the end of each nine weeks. There will be more information on this later.
Tumblebooks are digital books that can be accessed any time from any device by going to www.tumblebooklibrary.com and using our school username and password. Our username is senatobia and our password is books
When using tumblebooks, remember you can search for books by title, subject, or AR level. This might help you find the best books for you to read!
