Watercolor art class!

This week in Sweet Eats class, we made ice cream in a bag! Students learned how to follow a recipe and enjoy the fruits of their labor. During round two of sweet eats, students decorated cookies using orange Icing and fall colored sprinkles.

Lower elementary students have been learning about line art using watercolors this week in Fall Intersession!

Slime!!! We've been dabbling with mixtures and solutions in 3rd-5th Grade STEAM this week! Is it a liquid? Is it a solid? It is a non-Newtonian fluid/liquid. It is neither a liquid nor a solid. You can both pick it up with your hands like a solid, and it will ooze like a liquid. Much like a liquid, slime doesn't have its own shape, so it moulds to whatever container it is placed in.

Pre-K has been “camping” this week in intersession!

Special thanks to our community helpers for visiting our pre-K and kindergarten classes!

Congratulations to Mrs. Hemker and Mrs. Holman for winning the Friday Teacher Trivia! The winning song was "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas! We have a feeling that tonight's going to be a good night! Let's go WARRIORS! Special thanks to our PTC, Açaí Bowl, and Five Star Nutrition for sponsoring this month's Teacher Trivia!
